So what does the 2013 Super Bowl between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers mean to Las Vegas? Money! Cold hard cash and lots of it. Over 300,000 people will be in town to watch the "Big Game" and place their bets. Last year over $93 million was wagered and this year it's expected to be much more. And the city expects to rake in close to $500 million in non-gaming revenue. It is the biggest event of the year. More people will be here to watch the Super Bowl than there will be in New Orleans to attend the game. Why you ask. Frank said it best, "It's Vegas Baby!" There will be parties all over town. Every casino, every sports bar pub and restaurant, and just about at every bodies house. Where I live there?s going to be a Super Bowl block party. And why not. The weathers great today. About 68 degrees at kickoff. And why do they call it the "Big Game" in Las Vegas? Because some years ago the NFL had their lawyers suing anyone in Las Vegas who used the words Super Bowl.
