Rock-a-thon for Honor Flight – The Homewatch Swingers performed for the Rock-a-thon at Deepwood Estates in Lexington on Saturday. The group entertained Deepwood Estate residents to raise money for veterans visit Washington.

Consistency Key to AHS success – Airport head football coach Kirk Burnett gives credit to his assistants. The Eagles have averaged double-digit wins the last four years thanks to the consistency on his staff. “Our coaches have been together for eight years,” Burnett said. The Eagles took the field Friday for the first practice of the 2011 season and with 19 returning starters, expectations are high. “Our players should be able to pick up right where we left off,” “There are no excuses for not being ready.” The Eagles will be led by senior quarterback Kelvin Harris. Harris has picked up on things quicker this summer and has improved his work habits,” Burnett said. “He’s stronger and quicker.”

Measure Success

You can't manage what you don't measure. It is an old management adage that is accurate today. Unless you measure something you don't know if it is getting better or worse. You can't manage for improvement if you don't measure to see what is getting better and what isn't. This article will help you know what to measure and how.
