Based on the worst movie ever made, this is sure to be the worst play ever performed! Totally tongue-in-cheek, Plan 9 From Outer Space will surely have its audience gaffaw-ing bigtime. Check out their cool blogspot page with ticket info here. Yes, it's at Tapps Art Center - I asked, and was told there was a performance stage "behind the wall" and room for 200 souls or so. Best get tickets soon!

Sandlapper Singers: Dreher High School

The Sandlapper Singers, South Carolina’s a professional choral ensemble has presented American choral music in a uniquely entertaining and engaging style since 1996. The 30-voice auditioned ensemble is beginning its fifteenth season performing an annual subscription series of three concerts at the Dreher High School Performing Arts Center in Columbia. Kid's Day Columbia: Finlay Park

Welcome to another "Let's Move!" Kids Day Columbia! Kick off on Friday from 6pm - 9pm with a Fun Run at 6:30pm. Colorectal Cancer Walk: Colonial Life Arena

The 2012 Colorectal Cancer Walk will be held Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. at Riverfront Park. Colorectal cancer: the third most common cancer in both men and women in the United States. It’s also one of the most preventable and treatable forms of cancer if detected early.All proceeds stay right here in our community and benefit Palmetto Health Cancer Centers. Columbia International Festival: SC State Fairgrounds

Urban Tour: Downtown Columbia

Urban Tour is a free event showcasing all that Columbia’s downtown has to offer. The self-guided walking tour includes special offers and giveaways from retailers, live entertainment such as street performers and musicians, and local artists. Businesses along the tour will keep their doors open late for the event. Free shuttle rides are available to assist pedestrians.
