What is in the name EXIT?

Posted by Bob Keeran on May 16, 2012 at 8:40 PM Comments comments (0)

Branding. The EXIT sign is already associated in every one of your customers minds. In each of your customer’s daily environment they will see the EXIT sign more times than any other sign in the English language. The average North American will see an EXIT sign over 200 times each day.

It’s our sign, our logo…we own it. When associated with your Real Estate Brokerage it becomes a powerful deeply subliminal connection customers remember and cannot help associate with your company. This is experienced daily in EXIT Realty offices all across North America. Ask any one of our 600 + Franchise offices and they will give you story after story of how the EXIT Realty name worked to help their customers remember them when it’s time to buy or sell.

Our EXIT sign is over every commercial door in North America! It’s over every one of our competitors doors. And how about this…..our sign is “required” by law to be keep over the door. And most must pay to keep it lit. Our logo, our trademark, our sign required over tens of millions of front, rear and even escape doors, freeway off ramps and even the way out on you phone and computer! When you get on a plane the flight attendants point it out, again by law, every time! Nothing like it ever…the most powerful, most recognized word in sign form in the English language!

EXIT Realty Blaine Associates Wins 8 Awards

Posted by Kristen Keeran on May 11, 2012 at 5:55 PM Comments comments (0)

EXIT Realty Blaine Associates did something very very special this year. As many of you know Tom Blaine recently passed away after a long illness and Barbara is running the office with the capable assistance of Beverly Bower, the long time manager of the office.

This office is run in a business like and efficient way and the agents think of the office as a family. Blaine is a close family living and working together always striving to accomplish more not only for the office as a whole but for each and every agent lucky enough to work there.  Well this year they did something special!

EXIT Realty Blaine Associates took home 4 of the top regional awards for production. The office was the top producing office intotal gross commissions earned.  We all know how good that is!  EXIT Blaine also won for the Total number of Transactions putting together and closing almost 400 transactions for the year 2011. No surprise is also the fact EXIT Blaine won for the most listings taken, every good manager knows the office with the most listings will most likely have the most sales and the most closings therefore the highest gross commissions!  Listings rule!!  Another production award was the most number of listings and Per Agent Production. The last regional production award won by EXIT Blaine and associates wasthe highest and most coveted award we give and that is for per agent production.  Per agent production meansthe agents at EXIT Blaine were more productive on a per agent basis than any other office in EXIT Realty for the year 2011. Agent making a living is what that means!  Agent number 43 in the US top 100 EXIT agents is Beverly Bower, manager of EXIT Realty Blaine Associates.  Beverly  won for top producing agent in Southern California also.

In addition to all these wonderful well deserved awards the office won 2 EXIT sprit awards for associates who displayed the best of EXIT Realty for the 2011 year and an additional award for participation.  All in all 8 prestigious awards were given tothis outstanding office for the 2011 year production.  Something that has never been done by anyoffice in precious years.

The agents in this office love to be a part of the family of agents in EXIT Realty Blaine Associates. Next time you are in Apple Valley stop in the office and feel the atmosphere of helping and customer service that office eludes.  If only every Real Estate office were blessedwith the foundation given by Tom and Barbara the public would think of RealEstate people in a much better light.

If you’re an agent in the Apple Valley area you cannot do better.  You’ll not find an officewith a better management or more honest owners than this office.  Do yourself a favor and investigate.

My Graphic Design and Website Design Background in Santa Clarita CA

Video of Will Sherwood

Using my graphic design, website design, and marketing communications skills, I help my clients in Santa Clarita and throughout Los Angeles to double and triple their business. My aim is to stir your imagination and leave your competition shaken and saying 'NOW what do we do?

I love working with start-ups and small companies, though the larger volume of my business tends to be with manufacturing or service corporations that gross $10 million or more per year.

When I work with clients over a period of 2 or more years, I am often able to help them double or triple their business.

I’ve been grooving on graphic design, web design, and marketing communications for over 30 years, since I was 16 years old, running a hand-feed letterpress, designing tickets and cards in my family’s print shop. And after all these years, the rush I still get from finding a great, and inspired creative solution makes it all worth it.

I'm very honored to say that over the years, I have been selected to receive more than 350 graphic and web design awards. (see http://www.thesherwoodgroup.com/addy-awards-2010.html for current winners) Plus, I have a good reputation among colleagues and friends, something that is very important to me.

Sandbridge Homes For Sale

Posted by Virginia Beach Residence on December 15, 2011 at 3:20 PM Comments comments (0)

Sandbridge is a fantastic area to live in South Eastern Virginia Beach, Virginia. Sandbridge homes for sale in the area, at the time of this article, range from $200,000 to $2.3 Million. They range from luxurious condos, a short walk to the beach, to 11 bedroom oceanfront monsters! A quick drive down Sandfiddler Road will reveal that folks in this area are very proud of their homes. You will see most of them have NAMED their home! Most homes have 4 foot signs with nautical themed names engraved on them. And other nautical themed artifacts line many of the sand filled yards.

It will take you about 25 minutes to get to Interstate 264. So be ready for some traveling every day. Median House Value is about $500,000. Quite a number of the homes are seasonal rentals. So they are vacant during the winter. The neighborhood is served by Kellam High School, Princess Anne Middle and Redmill Elementary. The very attractive zip code is 23456. Easy to remember!  Most of the homes were built between 1970 and 1994. Most of the homes are located on a thin strip of land between the Atlantic Ocean and North Bay.

At the time of this article , 113 homes are for sale in Sandbridge. To check out the currently available homes, please see Virginia Beach Residence at http://www.virginiabeachresidence.com/sandbridge-homes-for-sale/. The Fort Meade Real State Market Getting Aid

Posted by Maria Avellaneda, Licensed Realtor on October 24, 2011 at 9:30 PM Comments comments (0)

Posted on October 24, 2011 05:30 PM by Maria Avellaneda, Licensed Realtor

Greetings:

Many home owners are struggling, and many have already gone under and lost their homes flooding the market with short sales and foreclosures which the results of home values decreasing. This was good news for buyers but not for sellers.  The market and the economy have left  the naton and the Fort meade Area whith low confidence in the economy.  As a result many buyers are sitting on the fence creating and adding to the lack of stability of the market and the economy.   The President will unveil soon to Unveil Housing Aid rather than quoting I am proviidng here one article about the Plan   Daily Real Estate News | Monday, October 24, 2011 President Barack Obama is expected to announce Monday new policies to help struggling home owners, including a move that would allow borrowers to refinance their mortgage at current low rates no matter how much their home values have dropped.

The announcements are expected to unveil looser terms to qualify for the Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP), which helps borrowers up-to-date on their mortgage payments refinance, despite a drop in their home values.

The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which regulates Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, also is expected to end a cap that excluded home owners from HARP who had mortgages that were higher than 125 percent of the home’s value.

Many borrowers who are underwater on their properties have been unable to refinance their mortgage since they do not have enough equity in their properties. The administration’s plan is expected to eliminate “appraisals and extensive underwriting requirements for most borrowers” who are up-to-date on their mortgage and want to refinance at a lower rate, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Obama is also expected to announce a reduction in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan fees and a waiving of fees for borrowers looking to refinance their mortgages into shorter terms. Lenders could start refinancing, following the new policies, as early as Dec. 1. However, mortgages that are more than the current loan-to-value limit may have to wait until early next year, according to media reports.

Housing experts believe that allowing underwater home owners to refinance at the current low rates will allow home owners to shave hundreds from their monthly mortgage bills and possibly help avoid foreclosures and free up more household cash to spur economic recovery in other areas.

Source: “WSJ: Home Lending Revamp Planned,” The Wall Street Journal (Oct. 24, 2011) [log-in required] and “Obama to Unveil Housing Plan on Campaign Swing West,” Reuters News (Oct. 24, 2011)

This Plan is expected to give a boost to the economy and improve the market condiiton.  This would probably mean a faster recovery and higher prices and higher interest.  Word to wise, this is still a great time and possibly the best  time to buy. Start your search in any of our searches.

We've re-established our regional relationship with Bank of America and Joe Morris as the preferred Mortgage Loan Officer.  We've worked with Joe since 2007 and he has helped many of our agents close difficult transactions.  This include our daughter, who had a condo to close last year, in an impossible environment for condo sales, and Joe got it done.

Importance of a Home Inspection - Your Washington, DC Area Realtor

Posted by Damon J. Brockenberry - Damon The Agent on July 20, 2011 at 9:00 AM Comments comments (0)

Sometimes people try to cut corners when buying a house.  One of the short cuts they try to take is avoiding getting a home inspection in the sense of trying to save money so they can do things when they move in.  One of the biggest mistakes anyone can make is avoiding getting a home inspection.  Whether the house is new, used, or being built.

Home Inspections reveal so many unseen hidden facts that only a home inspector can and will find before it's too late.  One key factor that home inspectors do is they check the electrical wiring to ensure that the house is properly grounded.  This alone is very critical because if not checked a buyer could move in a house, plug everything up only for everything to get a shortage and burn out.  Then they will hire an electrician which right there alone is more than most home inspections cost.

Other valuable reasons for getting a home inspections are checking the foundation of the property, along with the roof, & in many cases checking for termites.  There are things that the naked eye cannot see and only a home inspector will know.  You spend hundreds of dollars for the inspection but you save thousands over time.  Also you can't put a price on piece of mind.  Just knowing what's going on with your investment.

Giving your home a check up like you would do your body is extremely important.  If you don't take care of your body your body won't last, same for your home.  When people take short cuts they usually end up paying more later it's just a common law of life which applies especially to purchasing a home and taking the necessary steps to ensure you are not wasting money.

ALWAYS GET A HOME INSPECTION WHEN PURCHASING A NEW, USED, OR TO BE BUILT HOME!

Measure Success

You can't manage what you don't measure. It is an old management adage that is accurate today. Unless you measure something you don't know if it is getting better or worse. You can't manage for improvement if you don't measure to see what is getting better and what isn't. This article will help you know what to measure and how.
